I stayed home all day today. It was one of those days that I just couldn't get out of bed. But I didn't mind it. I watched YouTube all day, finished watching all of the ApartmentRed videos, and read about the YT redesign. I'm not fond of it. At all.
I can understand that they're losing tons of money with the old way. But there's some changes that I don't think are necessary. And I'm going to miss the old profiles once everyone's are Beta. It felt like, last night the whole YouTube community was collectively holding its breath while the dreaded Hulufication was taking place. But then we all woke up this morning, check YT, and the only change was that we had the option of making our profiles Beta. The homepage has started changing for some people now. I've seen a screenshot of it. It's not pretty. What they should be doing is fixing the broken view counter, or the broken subscription box. At this point, half the time, I only know someone's posted a video because they tweeted about it.
On another note, I did some laundry today, and that makes me happy. Something else that makes me happy, is an ad my dad saw in the paper today. You can fly one way to London from Fredericton for $99, excluding taxes.
Honestly, that's a steal. If I had the money for the ticket, and money to spend while I was over there, and my passport, I would take off the London this weekend. That's exactly the crazy, impulsive thing I would do. And I love it.
And, if anyone hasn't seen the new Half Blood Prince trailer, click this link right now, take a few minutes, and go watch it. Oh my God. It's fucking amazing. There's no other words for it. It gave me chills, and almost made me cry. I can't believe how much I love this right now. It makes me remember why I loved this series in the first place, and why I continue to love it now that I'm in the fandom.
I really probably should get to bed soon. I have to get up in 5 hours. How have I not died from lack of sleep? Caffiene is a life saver, that's all I have to say. I'll see you guys tomorrow.
