#6: What Melissa's Watching

Yeah, I know, I missed a day. I fell asleep early, and I didn't want to subject you guys to a half-consciously written blog post. I did that enough last year.

So I'm thinking, Blog More Frequently in April? Like what Kristina Horner is doing. Except I think it's Blog in April More Frequently. Which makes me laugh.

Last night, Gossip Girl was amazing. I love Jenny, I've always loved Jenny, ever since she was Little J from Brooklyn, making her own dresses. I'm not sure if I want her with Nate or not. He seemed so happy with Serena, and I loved them together. But then I look at him and Jenny, and I think they would be good together. Maybe they just need to introduce a new, amazing character in the show, just for Jenny.

Also, Lost tonight was even MORE amazing. I love Desmond so much. Now that Sayid has no soul, or whatever is up with him, I think Desmond is going to replace him and my favourite guy on the show. Either him or Richard Alpert. He's pretty bad ass. My mum is really glad I re-watched all of Lost before the 6th season, because it's all fresh in my mind, and I'm making all the connections. So she understands it all, without spending hours and hours re-watching it. Although, I do suggest it. It all makes so much more sense.

I've been watching a lot of anime lately, too. When I had my wisdom teeth out the second week of March, I watched all 26 episodes of Escaflowne in two days. Then I watched Code Geass in five days. Then Wolf's Rain. I've started watching Darker Than Black, because my friend Jon suggested it to me. But then Kody burned the first 24 episodes of Death Note for me. I had started watching that ages ago, one summer. YTV ran it every night, after midnight. Then I went back to school, or YTV stopped showing it, or something, but I never finished it. I'm trying to take it a little slower than I did the other animes. I mean, I did watch 50 episodes of Code Geass in 5 days. I definitely recommend that show, by the way. It was incredible. The ending was so sad, but so, so, so good. Usually I think animes have stupid endings, and I end up getting really mad about it.

Anyways, I'm done talking about tv shows, and would like to watch more Death Note, or, you know, do some much needed school work. See you tomorrow!

Death Note: episode 6

  1. Anime on YTV?

    Nonono.

    You need to go online and find the original Japanese ones with subtitles. English dubs are so bad lol.

  2. I hate watching the shows with subtitles though, it really annoys me.

  3. Are Darker then Black and Death note any good? They looked kind of interesting and I thought I might add them to my rotation.

    @Sandy
    I agree, Cardcaptors had a totally different sub plot in Japanese the it did in the English version.

  4. I love Death Note, I'm over half way through it now. I've only watched 4 episodes of Darker Than Black, but it seems like it'll be really good.
