Location: Frigging library
Listening to: The librarian wheeling around a book cart
Urgh. No more music during class. I hate this school. We're not allowed to have any "technical devices" at school now. And, ironically, I'm getting my long awaited iPod this afternoon. Somehow I snuck my cell phone into math class. I love how my teacher doesn't notice things like that.
Ok, so I had exams last week. I know for sure I failed my math, 44%. I know from my gut feeling that I definitely failed Science. I know I did well on my Social Studies, and all right on my English.
This week: new classes. This is my schedule:
1st Period- Math, Mrs. Scott
2nd Period- Library
3rd Period- Journalism, Mr. Jones <----- new class. I used to have Science here
4th Period- Frence, Mr. Hendra <-----also new class, used to have Social Studies
5th Period- English, Mrs. Rudderham
Yep. Definitely going to miss Standring's History/Social Studies class. And I'm nervous about next class. I've heard Mr. Jones is hard, and journalism isn't really my thing. I'd be better at family living, or History class.
Aaannndddd..... no more Europe trips for Fundy High. The tour company's being stupid, and won't give me my money back, so we have to file and insurance claim. Mrs. Rudderham was just like, "If they're being like that, I don't want to deal with them next year." So I might go with my Aunt Audrey to Ireland next time she goes. I think it'd be fun.
No. Wait. It's my crazy great aunt.
Someone will definitely have to come with me. Any takers??? *Looks hopeful*
Hahaha, I'm so tricky, I hid my MP3 headphones so the librarian can't she them. How I love having super long hair. I'm actually thinking of getting a few inches off it, so it will go curlier. You know, a lot of people hate the hair they have, but I love mine. Sure, it goes frizzy sometimes, and poofy, so I just get special stuff for it. I take good care of it, so it's more manageable. That's really all it needs. And I don't even care about it being straight anymore. It's too much work to straighten the night before, then again in the morning.
Did you know....
82% of sexual assault victims are women or girl
6% of sexual assaults are reported to the police
67% of sexual offences occured in the home
Once ever minute, a woman or chils in Canada is sexually assaulted.
Women who have been sexually assaulted are significantly more likely than other women to commit suicide, suffer from eating disorders, and have a higher rate of drug use
Yeah, that's horrible. And I so just copied that word for work off a sheet on the bulletin board behind the computer.
Anyways, I'm off to Jones's Journalism class, wish me luck!!!
Love,
Melissa <3
